Наш саунд разнообразный, хотя в фокусе находится PsyTrance, SunStation также продвигает New School GOA, Progressive, Downtempo, IDM и другие экспериментальные стили музыки. Лейбл имеет мягкий подход к релизам: многие бесплатны для скачивания в mp3 и lossless форматах, тогда как другие коммерчески доступны на компакт-дисках и цифровых загрузках.

Деятельность лейбла: выпуск релизов, организация мероприятий, приём заказов, лицензирование, раскрутка, управление артистами лейбла.

Biography:
Founded in Saint-Petersburg in 2005, SunStation exists to provide a solid new media platform for the development of electronic music talent in Russia and beyond. Our sound is diverse; although PsyTrance is the focus, SunStation also promotes New School GOA, Progressive, Downtempo, IDM and other more experimental styles of music. The label takes a flexible approach to releases: many are free to download in MP3 and lossless formats whereas others are commercially-available on CD and digital downloads.

Among the label activities there are: releasing music in various formats; organizing events; booking; licensing; promotion; management for label artists.

Luminexia - Mindcontrol EP [2009]



We are proud to represent you a debut release of a talented artist from St. Petersburg called Luminexia. It’s a solo project of Slava Sherstjuk who was composing psychedelic music for the last 3 years and already become a favorite act in his home city after his memorable live gigs on best parties here. Now is a time to bring his music to the rest of the world.

Mind Control EP contains of 4 different tracks that are the best proof of Slava’s potential and abilities in creating top class psychedelic trance music. A powerful start with epic guitar stomper Mind Control. Straight after it goes driving nighttime track Virus On. Ultraviolet takes us further into psychedelic realm with deep pulsating rhythm, intelligent saiko sounds and floating melodies. In the end comes Mind Links that is a groovy and playful so you just can’t stand dancing to it.

This release is a true windfall for all those modern psytrance lovers who are tired of similar and faceless music. Each track is a perfect tool for dj as well. It was proved on many dancefloors in different countries during Luminexia live acts as well as in sets of our residents djs.

Manifold - Mental Suggestion [2008]



Mental Suggestion is the second long awaited album by well known Moscow duo Manifold.

Again Edward aka Cybered and Alexander aka Sulima prepared for us something special and very powerfull on effects. They have spent long time researching of how to deliver people to parallel worlds from outside our galaxy straight from the dance floors they've performed at.

Listening to this album you will get an invaluable experience of travelling to mystical dimensions using fullpower psychedelic sonic vibrations craftfully presented by Manifold. Are you ready for this?

Nearly 3 years have passed since Manifold's debut album called X-Ray Attraction was released. During this time the project got further fruitful development. Their new album is a result of huge work on combining together different styles and techniques for creating music: ranging from hypnotic techno to GOA melodies, from energy of electro to aggressiveness of darkpsy. On this CD Cybered and Sulima also mix influence of different periods of development in electronic music - all drawn from the best and well-forgotten old one, but with a fresh intelligent approach in making arrangements. As one of trademarks Manifold always use latest technologies in sampling and sound synthesis, and not forgetting about the 'fat' the old analog equiment.

Mental Suggestion brings 9 absolutely new and charged with 'full power' energy tracks. Glooex - Glookanary Express [2005]



Glookanary Express is a new Moscow act and this album is a very impressive debut indeed. The music has some weird & twisted suomi/aussie-style influences with the constant funky deep groove & atmospheric/etherial/surreal pads now & then, varying from morning to night, with more on the acid morning side..

The sound could be a little more fat, but maybe it’s just a matter of experience - anyways this album is one of the best debut albums I can remember, from a man with a very good taste & composition skills and what is also important it’s 100% cheese-free.

Pan Psychic - We Are Not Who We Are [2007]



Sun Station is proud to present the long awaited album ”We Are Not Who We Are” by the truly pioneering trance project from Saint-Petersburg called Pan Psychic. The history of this collective started in 1999 when Alexey Kravchenko and Georgy aka Geo founded new project to produce trance music. It became the first act on local scene who played on parties self-produced tracks only. Since that time the project had performed on many events from underground trance parties to big festivals sharing stage with best artists of genre. Later people behind Pan Psychic have changed: Alexey has left the project and in 2006 Ivan Fedorenko - an old friend of Geo - became a new member. Also a electronic musician O. Bojczuk (Shytan) from Donetsk (Ukraine) have participated in work on some tracks of the album.

The album ”We Are Not Who We Are” contains best and most popular Pan Psychic tracks which were produced in 2002-2007. The style of tracks is varied, you will hear hypnotic goa trance in ”Vishnu Avatars” and ”In Suspend”, rough nighttime psychedelic in ”We Are Not, Who We Are”, ”Night Vision” and ”Bioware”, joyfull morning melodies in ”Moscow-Cassiopeia”, ”Picnic On A Roadside”, deep chill out in ”The Last Reality”. Album is closed by non-official anthem of St. Petersburg trance movement - the great remix on timeless classics by famous Russian band Zemliane ”Trava U Doma” which was dedicated to all cosmonauts dreaming about home while being on the orbit.

We hope that ”We Are Not Who We Are” will become a pleasant gift to all trance fans around.

Kadang - Mount Point EP [2006]



Kadang Crew is a community of artists formed in 2005 in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

On first virtual EP ”Mount Point” you can find 4 tracks, influenced by different genres, but united under shared mood and conception - life in motion.

Koan - Fulfilled Wish EP [2007]



After a success of first CD release ”Two Moon Butterflies” on TranceXplorer label, Koan is ready to please it’s listeners again. Not giving up the idea of it’s original ”ethno-lounge” style, Koan continues to develop it musically and geographically. This time it takes us to Middle East region deeper into Arabic culture.

This EP consists of 5 tracks made in one style with unique ”monolithic” mood. Filled with Arabic shades and melodies it is fully based on modern technologies of electronic music creation. As before we get calm and gradually evolving compositions with well thought-out inner links. Hypnotic percussion perfectly matches to ethnic melodic patterns and gives solid background to each track.
